ADULTS

Sunday Morning Bible Study – Starting at 9:30 a.m. and lasting 1 hour, we offer a variety of classes for men and women.

Sojourners:
so·journ (sō′jûrn′, sō-jûrn′) – A temporary stay; a brief period of residence. The Sojourner’s class is made up of men and women, young and mature, couples and singles with the understanding that this world is our temporary residence. It is this class’s desire to learn more about God and our Lord, Jesus, by reading and studying His Word. Taught in a lecture style, we learn the history behind bible events, the lessons we can take from the events and how it applies today.

Ladies:
When you enter this class of adult women, from young to mature, you will immediately notice the love, care, and support that each has for one another. Together, the Ladies class seeks to deepen their knowledge of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and discover His answers to their deepest needs.

Family Matters:
This class is a topical Bible study that draws from the whole Bible, God’s instruction on an array of topics vitally important for contemporary believers. Single adults and couples from all stages of life are welcome to join in.

Senior Adults:
It is our belief that you can never be too old to learn. Made up of our most senior adults, this is an interactive class seeking a greater understanding of God, His Word, and His plan for their lives, even during their twilight years.

Pastor’s class:
This is an ever-changing class geared towards meeting needs that God has impressed upon the Pastor. Usually made up of a series of lessons based on that common need, it seeks to help the class grow in their relationship with Christ while helping them with the tools they need in coping with everyday issues.

Men:
Tuesday evening Bible Study: This class meets at 7:00 p.m. in our fellowship hall.

Iron Men Bible Study: This class meets at 6:00 a.m. on Thursdays in our fellowship hall. Based on the Iron Sharpens Iron concepts, the goal is to build relationships with other men within the church body as well as strengthen relationships in the home and the surrounding community. Men are encouraged to spend time in God’s word and prioritize time for worship and prayer.

Women:
Women of Purpose: This ministry exists to help women become all they can be in Christ Jesus. It is meant to equip women with Biblical knowledge to know who God is and who they are in Christ through ministries of discipleship, encouragement, and service. This is an ongoing ministry without a set time or place. Just ask to be involved and opportunities will be provided.

Young at Heart:
Once a month, our adults aged 50 and older get together for some type of event. It’s a time for some fun, fellowship, and often food. The day, location, and time of the get-together varies from month to month.

CHILDREN

Sunday morning Bible Study: For babies through 5th grade, these classes are broken down into specific age groups to best fit the needs of the class. Interactive playtime as well as Bible Study is used to guide and provide a solid base in which to grow our children into a loving relationship with Christ.

AWANA: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. AWANA is a ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve Him. AWANA meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 during the school year, usually in early September through April.

VBS: This Vacation Bible School meets the first week in August and is in the evening. It meets from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. No registration necessary.

YOUTH CHOIR: “Soli Deo Gloria”, includes all youth, grades 3-12. The youth choir meets Saturday mornings from 10-11:30 from September through April. A youth choir special is sung the last Sunday of each month during morning worship. Additionally, a half-hour program is presented at a local nursing center at Christmas and Easter. Join us each week as we sing and make melody to our Lord Jesus and learn more about His glorious ways through song and a Bible devotion. The only cost is the purchase of a uniform Polo Shirt.

YOUTH

Sunday Morning Bible Study: For 6th grade through high school, this interactive class is built around the goal of equipping our future adults with the full armor of God to strengthen them in their faith and knowledge of God’s Word.

WORLD CHANGERS: This provides our youth as well as adults with opportunities to meet the physical and spiritual needs of others through practical learning experiences that teach servanthood and personal commitment to missions. It involves a week of building projects on the missions field within the United States. This event occurs in July.
